Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Chongqing

Activities for today: Hotel transfer

Transfer via: Flight/train - your arrangement

Upon arrival in Chongqing, you will be welcomed by our tour guide and driver. The remainder of the day is yours to explore and get familiar with the city.

Day 2: Chongqing/Yangtze Cruise

Activities for today: Yangtze River Cableway, Rail Transit Line 2, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street (Monument to the people's Liberation), Kuixinglou Square, WFC Huixianlou Observation Deck, Hongya Cave, board the ship

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our day by immersing ourselves in the stunning cityscape of Chongqing. Our first destination will be the Yangtze River Cableway, providing a unique perspective of the city, followed by a ride on the well-known Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2 to enjoy breathtaking views of the cityscape.

Our exploration will then lead us to several prominent landmarks, starting with the Monument to the People's Liberation and the lively Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. We will then proceed to Kuixinglou Square, a dynamic public space that also serves as the roof of a 22-floor building, offering a captivating view of the activity 65.8 meters below.

Continuing our journey, we will visit the WFC Huixianlou Observation Deck, situated 339 meters above ground level. From this elevated viewpoint, we will be treated to a stunning 360° panoramic vista of Chongqing's cityscape.

To wrap up our tour, we will explore the renowned Hongya Cave, an iconic landmark in Chongqing. This architectural gem comprises 11 layers of traditional wooden houses nestled into the mountainside, exuding a captivating antique charm.

Day 3: Yangtze Cruise

Activities for today: Stone Treasure Fortress

Today, delight in a fascinating shore excursion to the enigmatic Fengdu Ghost City. Breakfast and lunch will be served buffet-style, while dinner will consist of a Chinese dinner aboard the cruise.

1. While navigating the same path through the Three Gorges, various cruises will feature distinct shore excursion plans. The previously mentioned sites are typical and commonly visited destinations. The precise daily itinerary is contingent upon the vessel you have reserved.

2. Physical Requirements and Attire Suggestions: It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes as there will be extensive walking at Fengdu Ghost City and numerous stairs to ascend at Shibaozhai.

Day 4: Yangtze Cruise

Activities for today: Shennv Stream

1. In addition to the mentioned shore excursions, two newly introduced sites recommended by cruise companies have received high praise from guests: Three Gorges Summit and Goddess Sky Road. Day 5: Yangtze Cruise/Yichang/Exit

Activities for today: Three Gorge Dam, airport/train station transfer

08:30-11:30 Check out and disembark at Maoping Port. Take the ship company’s bus to have a shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam (not include cable car at the dock of RMB 2/ p.p and battery car in the scenic spot of RMB 10/p.p)

11:30 After visiting the Three Gorges Dam, meet our Yichang local guide and drive to Yichang Sanxia Airport or Yichang East Railway Station. (Note: please don’t take the ship company’s bus after visiting the dam. Our guide and driver will meet you there)

Departure Options:
You have the option to take flights from Yichang Sanxia Airport to cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other cities. Alternatively, you can choose high-speed trains departing from Yichang East Railway Station to destinations like Wuhan (approximately 2 hours), Enshi (approximately 2 hours), Shanghai (approximately 8 hours), Beijing (approximately 7.5 hours), Hangzhou (approximately 7.5 hours), Chengdu (approximately 7 hours), Guangzhou (approximately 7 hours), and other cities.
