Day 2: Chongqing

After breakfast, meet your local guide and driver at your hotel. Today, you'll delve into the essence of Chongqing, known as the Mountain City, and explore the rich culture along the Yangtze River. Begin your journey at the Three Gorges Museum in the city center, housing over 280,000 historical artifacts. Gain insight into the Yangtze River's significance, the formation of the Three Gorges, and Chongqing's evolution over 3,000 years, including its wartime history and path to becoming one of China's thriving municipalities.

Next, visit the Chongqing People's Auditorium, renowned for its elegant classical architecture, listed in the History of Architecture in London in 1987.

Embark on a unique experience by taking Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2 from Huanghuayuan Metro Station to Liziba Metro Station, offering a different perspective of the city. Witness the train passing through an 11-story residential building, a striking feature of Chongqing's mountainous landscape.

Ascend to E'ling Park for a breathtaking panoramic view of Chongqing, often likened to "Little Hong Kong" for its modern skyscrapers and meandering rivers. Day 3: Wulong

Activities for today: Three Natural Bridges, Longshuixia Fissure Gorge

After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Wulong. Today's highlight is the exploration of Wulong Karst National Geological Park, renowned for its massive dolines, natural bridges, and caves, designated as part of the South China Karst UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. This area also served as a filming location for the blockbuster movie "Transformers IV".

Upon reaching Wulong Tourist Center, board a sightseeing bus to Three Natural Bridges, the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia. Marvel at the towering natural bridges and expansive caves. Descend to the valley floor via a sightseeing elevator to admire the Karst Mountains, enchanting caves, and picturesque waterfalls. Enjoy a scenic hike passing by notable landmarks like Tianlong Bridge, Tianfu Post House, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge.

Next, take a bus to Longshuixia Fissure Gorge (Longshui Gorge Geofracture), a distinctive gap-style gorge integral to Wulong Karst. Immerse yourself in this natural oasis, enjoying a 2-kilometer leisurely walk through attractions like One Line Sky and Dragon Pool Minoring the Moon. Day 4: Wulong/ Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Furong Cave, Train station transfer

After breakfast, your guide and driver will accompany you on a journey to Furong Cave, renowned as one of the "Three Greatest Caves in the World".

This limestone cave, formed during the Cambrian-Ordovician Period, spans around 2,700 meters and encompasses 37,000 square meters. It is famous for its diverse speleothems, creating a stunning array of karst landscapes. With over 300 scenic spots, including the magnificent "Glory Hall" and remarkable stone formations like waterfalls, curtains, and palm-shaped stalagmites, the cave is a treasure trove of natural beauty. Its interior features precious red coral and calcite formations.

Following the exploration of Furong Cave, you will be transferred to Wulong South Railway Station (Wulongnan) for a high-speed train journey to Zhangjiajie (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie West Railway Station (Zhangjiajiexi), your local guide will greet you and assist with hotel check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

*For the evening, consider visiting Xibu Street in Wulingyuan downtown for a relaxing stroll. This popular pedestrian street, infused with Tujia ethnic flavors, offers a variety of local snacks, unique artifacts, and a picturesque night view illuminated by colorful lights.

Day 5: Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Ten Mile Natural Gallery, Bailong Elevator, Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain

Start your day at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (UNESCO World Heritage).

Ten-mile Gallery: Ride trams past mythical rock formations like "Longevity God" and "Three Sisters Peaks"

Yuanjiajie: Take the record-breaking Bailong Elevator (1.5 min ascent) to misty peaks that inspired Avatar's floating mountains. Walk the No. 1 Bridge under the Heaven, a 5m natural stone arch between peaks.

Day 6: Zhangjiajie

After breakfast, drive to explore the attractive Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, which is known as the landform museum of Zhangjiajie. One of the highlights in your canyon exploration is a challenging walk on the most terrifying glass bridge in the world - Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge.

Afternoon move on to Baofeng Lake to enjoy a wonderful cruise and the local ethnic songs.

The three elevators, two alpine slides, zipline (crossing the Grand Canyon), bungee jumping (from the Glass Bridge), VR experience (crossing the Grand Canyon), rock climbing, and boat ride (Rainbow Lake) at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon are optional. Day 7: Zhangjiajie/Exit

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, embark on a journey to explore Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Your adventure begins with a ride on the world's longest cable car, offering breathtaking views as you ascend to the mountain's summit. Once at the top, engage in a roughly 2-hour hike along the plank road adjacent to the awe-inspiring Guigu Cliff. This hike includes the opportunity to walk on the glass skywalk overlooking the cliff. After the hike, visit Tianmen Temple before taking the Forest Sightseeing cable car back to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station. From there, ascend to the middle station via a large cable car. Subsequently, board a bus along the renowned Tongtian Avenue, a globally acclaimed winding mountain highway, to explore the Tianmen Cave.

Upon concluding your thrilling day, you will be escorted to Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport or Zhangjiajie West Railway Station for your next adventure or journey back home.
